Semi-Truck Mechanic / Technician
Job Description: We are looking for an In-Shop Semi Mechanic, Full Time or Part Time, any schedule you want. Will pay top dollar for good, experienced Mechanics. Pay is commissary upon experience and real world capabilities.
Qualifications
-
Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a valid and clean driver’s license

CDL License preferred but not required

Minimum two years of semi-mechanic experience working as a Diesel Tech on semi-trucks
-
Experience working on 53’ Dry Van Trailers a plus (Basics: Tires, Lights, Wiring, Brakes, etc.)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics and repairs, including computer diagnostics

We do not do any engine rebuilds

Basic Semi-Truck repairs, PM Maintenance, Brakes, Tires, Turbo, Radiators, Wiring/Lighting, Air and Coolant Leaks, etc.

RV Mechanic
RV Service Technician/Mechanic
Impact Truck & Trailer seeks a highly skilled and motivated RV Service Technician / Mechanic to join our team to provide maintenance and repair for recreational vehicles (RVs).
Job Summary: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical systems, possess excellent troubleshooting skills, and be familiar with various RV makes and models. The RV Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain RVs to ensure they are in safe and optimal operating condition.
Qualifications:

Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify RVs' mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
-
Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on RV systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
-
Inspect and troubleshoot generators, propane systems, and appliances within RVs.
-
Replace and repair faulty components, such as belts, hoses, filters, pumps, valves, and electrical wiring.
-
Conduct regular servicing and preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid flushes, and filter replacements.
-
Test and verify the proper functioning of repaired or replaced components.
-
Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and manage repair orders efficiently.
-
Provide accurate repair time and cost estimates.
-
Keep detailed records of all services, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all repair and maintenance tasks.
-
Stay updated on the latest RV technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends through continuous learning and training.

Assist in training and mentoring other mechanics as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive or RV mechanics is preferred.

Proven experience as an RV Mechanic, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on various RV makes and models.
-
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in RVs.
-
Strong knowledge of RV components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
-
Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
-
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in RV repair and maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
-
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
-
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with clients effectively.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Certification from the RV Industry Association (RVIA) or similar organizations is a plus.

Mobile Technicians
Job Description: We are looking for someone to run our Mobile Repair Service Truck to handle roadside assistance calls
Qualifications

Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a valid and clean driver’s license

CDL License preferred but not required

Minimum 2 years of semi mechanic experience working as a Diesel Tech on semi-trucks and some mobile road assistance experience a plus

We will also entertain a Candidate who does not have Semi experience but wants to run a Mobile Repair Truck and has Mechanic experience in General Automotive, Cars, Light Duty Trucks, etc.

Most tools are provided on the truck, but additional hand tools is a plus
